Historical Web Archive

Older material that no longer belongs to the current main structure, but remains worth reading or preserving as a record of its time.

Why this archive?

Klein-Singen.de has existed since the early years of the web. In recent years, however, the site was maintained only sporadically because most of my attention went to Python courses, books and learning platforms, as well as to my music. Since the older site contains a great deal of material that still seems worth reading and preserving, I decided in July 2026 to revive Klein-Singen.de and gradually review, correct and reorganise its content.

The archive contains subject areas that no longer fit the current main structure but remain interesting or deserve to be preserved as documents of their time. At present, these are the areas on bilingual upbringing and Brittany, formerly grouped under Language & Culture.

Preserved areas

Archive status: Dates, external links and individual presentations may reflect the original publication period. The material is being reviewed and revised gradually without unnecessarily erasing its historical character.

Why preserve it?

Private websites from the early years of the web are historical sources in their own right. They show not only what people wrote about, but also how the web looked, how pages were connected and which subjects shaped a period.
