Regional roots
I live in Singen (Hohentwiel). The city, the Hegau region and Lake Constance have appeared repeatedly in texts, photographs and projects since the early years of this website.
The double meaning of the name
“Klein-Singen” can be read geographically — Klein and Singen — or musically, because singen means “to sing” in German. That ambiguity may fit the website even better today than when it was created.
